We only have 9 more days until we leave for D.C., and I have been getting a little stressed about all the items we still have in the house and all the big items that we need to move/sell/give away/trash. So the beginning of the week Terry and I were talking and on the fly we decided to have a Garage Sale. There were a few things that went through my mind
1st Who has a Garage Sale in DECEMBER when it is 40 degrees outside and windy. I dont want to be out in the cold.
2nd Is this going to be worth it? All the set up for no one to come and buy anything. I mean it's December remember.
3rd Am I going to have to do all of this like I have done with all the packing so far?
Here are some of the items that we were trying to sell

A Couch and Coffee Table

Lawn Equipment

32" TV (Very old and VERY heavy)
I really thought this was going to be a waste of time, but after about an hour we had made $100 and there were still people coming. I was amazed at the amount of people that had come and the amount that we made at the end of the day.
Needless to say it has been a good New Years Eve.
