With Terry's mom in tow, we set out for another day of typical sightseeing in Buenos Aires. The day included a visit to the Casa Rosario and Plaza de Mayo, a ride the Subte Line "A" and take a stroll through San Telmo's Antique Market.

1st - Plaza de Mayo is the main square in downtown Buenos Aires located directly in front of  the Casa Rosario at the intersection of San Martin and Rivadavia

2nd - Casa Rosario is the White House of Argentina. Casa Rosada (Pink House) is the administrative building of the President, but not the residence.  The Pink House also has a small museum located inside and is free on Sunday

Walking up to Plaza de Mayo and Casa Rosario we noticed people entering the Pink House, so we followed them inside.  We found out about the small museum and that they were giving free tours of the building.  We decided not to wait around for our turn on a tour, however after looking this up it looks like we could have gotten to visit the Presidents office and really seen a lot of the interior.  Maybe we should go back on our own.

3rd - Subte Line "A". This is the oldest line of the Buenos Aires Metro still uses the original cars which were built between 1913 and 1919.  According to Wikipedia, they are the oldest subway coaches in the world.  Also, this was the first underground subway in South America, the Southern Hemisphere and the entire Spanish-speaking world.  Buenos Aires became the thirteenth city in the world to have a underground transport service  Line A runs under all of Av. de Mayo and part of Av. Rivadavia

4th - San Telmo Antique Market, on Sundays San Telmo becomes a haven for tourist and locals looking to find handcrafted items or rummage through the antique market set up with many vendors selling all types of antique goods. The market and street fair run almost all of Defensa to Plaza Dorrego
